NIHON SUPERIOR contributes to the 2018 IPC Hand Soldering Competition as a Sponsor

The IPC Hand Soldering Competition Japan was held during the 2018 JPCA Show period.

In the competition, participants competed to perform the best hand soldering on a printed wiring board in 30 minutes. The score was determined in accordance with the IPC-A-620 Class 3 Standard, an international standard for quality of electronic assembly products. The champion will be invited to participate in the world competition to be held in San Diego, U.S., in January 2019 as the Japanese national team.

The team that won the competition uses NIHON SUPERIOR's SN100C (lead-free, flux-cored solder) regularly because of its shiny finish and good wetting. The team used the product in the competition as well and gave the following comment: ""This solder is really easy to use, making the soldering process go smoothly.""

IPC organizes the hand soldering competition to help workers acquire high quality soldering techniques that eliminate defects and to promote social understanding of international standards. We support IPC's activities by participating as a competition sponsor.
