Product Information

SN1819 MAL (Solder for Aluminum)

SN1819 (MAL) is a unique flux-cored solder for aluminum that contains flux with good wetting to facilitate soldering of pure aluminum alloys to copper, exhibiting excellent permeability and galvanic corrosion resistance as well as providing joint strength equivalent to that of Sn/Zn solders.
SN1819 is a completely new type of patented alloy composed of highly pure Sn-Pb-Ag. It melts at low temperatures, providing excellent workability.
Features

1. Enables easy, precise soldering of aluminum and aluminum alloys.
2. Has significantly improved resistance to galvanic corrosion.
3. Exhibits good fluidity with aluminum or aluminum alloys and dissimilar metals, as well as excellent permeability.
4. Does not require separate flux due to its unique four-flux-core structure.
5. Works well with regular solders because it does not contain Bi-Zn-Cd-Al.
6. Enables soldering of all types of metal including stainless steel.
7. The flux delivers the same effects in both soldering using a soldering iron and gas heating. Allows direct soldering of thin boards and wires with electric soldering irons, heaters, ovens, induction heating devices, infrared heating, resistance heating, and other means.
